Balkancar ZARYA PLC receives certificate ISO 14001:2004 by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance Limited (EMEA branch).
ISO 9001:2008 quality re-certification audits successfully completed.
Balkancar ZARYA Plc, the single Bulgarian steel wheel manufacturer, received ISO 14001:2004 certification from Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Limited.
Certification of approval is given to Balkancar ZARYA Plc in ISO 14001:2004 to evidence that the company has implemented a system of environmental management. The certificate bears number SOF 0368294/A and is valid until November 28th, 2011.
Meanwhile, Balkancar ZARYA has achieved ISO 9001:2008 re-certification for the next three years following re-certification audit by LQRA, which was also carried out in January.
Yordan Bochev, Quality and QMS manager at Balkancar ZARYA, says current OEM customers demand that the company has solid quality procedures across all sections of the business being an approved supplier.
The ISO 9001:2008 quality re-certification for Balkancar ZARYA production ensures customer satisfaction. The company has undergone the transition to the recently updated quality standards ISO 9001:2008 and now covers management of the company’s intellectual property.
The management considers the re-certification as very important event to the company and states
that ISO 9001:2008 certification is a valuable asset to Balkancar ZARYA’s business and assists management in striving for continuous improvement and service excellence.
